SCS Engineers and SCS Global Services Announce Amicable Resolution of Trademark Dispute
Stearns, Conrad and Schmidt, Consulting Engineers, Inc. d/b/a SCS Engineers (“SCS Engineers”) and Scientific Certification Systems, Inc. d/b/a SCS Global Services, SCS Consulting Services, Inc. and SCS Standards and Assurance Systems, Inc. (collectively, “SCS Global”) jointly announce that they have amicably resolved Civil Case No. 4:25-cv-10875-HSG, which was pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. The terms of the settlement are confidential.
The parties wish to clarify that SCS Engineers and SCS Global Services are not affiliated, related, or connected with one another in any way. SCS Engineers is a leading environmental consulting, engineering, construction, monitoring and regulatory compliance firm, focused on waste management, remediation, energy and sustainability solutions for public and private clients. SCS Global Services is a leading provider of third-party verification, certification, auditing and standards setting services.
